    No. Mentioned is an information service. We report on what people on the internet are saying about stocks. Nothing posted is a recommendation or a prediction. Read the full disclaimer.
  2. How is this different from stock chat rooms?
    Most stock chat rooms orbit one person's calls. Mentioned runs the other way: measure public discussion in batches, count each source post once, then publish aggregate ticker counts and recurring themes.
  3. What does the free app do?
    Saved watchlist, mention thresholds, and the latest scheduled aggregate feed of which tickers are being repeated. Open the free app. No payment required. Sign in to sync across devices.
  4. How does Mentioned actually work?
    Mentioned checks monitored public investing forums on scheduled rotations, extracts ticker references, counts each source item once, surfaces recurring keywords, and rolls the results up by ticker. Every data surface shows its snapshot time. Full details are on the methodology page.
  5. Do you trade on the outputs?
    No. Snapshots publish after each successful scheduled sweep. Where both tiers can inspect a ticker, Free and Premium use the same aggregate market-discussion calculation. Premium expands the ranked coverage, context, limits, and delivery channels — it does not alter the underlying counts.
  6. How current is the data?
    Mentioned processes public discussion on a scheduled cadence and shows the snapshot time on its data surfaces. Source availability and runner limits can delay a sweep, so each timestamp is the honest freshness indicator.
  7. What's the difference between free and premium?
    Free shows the top 5 ranked tickers, tracks up to 3 names, and includes email alerts. When paid access opens, Premium will add the full ranked board, recurring keyword themes, up to 100 tracked tickers, push alerts, crypto chatter, the latest qualifying Brief digest when enough data is available, and summaries for leading tickers. The free app stays free.
